Yuri Norstein n' Me
Saw Yuri Norstein speak at the SVA theater on Monday,
I almost missed the whole thing due to Yuri’s onslaught of wild rabid American fans,
but the usher eventually had mercy on me and let me join the palava
afterwards had my new friend Dima translate russian to a confused/amused Yuri,
as he signed a toothless grammar school portrait of me (see above)
…and we all celebrated...
